1. Use the EK Success Whale of a Punch 1.5" circle punch or a circle punch of your choice to punch 20 circles.

2. Ink the edges with your favorite ink.

3. Cut a triangle template out of a plastic lid or packaging. The triangle should measure 1.5" on all sides. If you used a different sized circle punch, you'll have to punch an extra circle and fold in the sides similar to what's pictured so that you can make your template.

4. Use the triangle template to fold the sides on all your circles. Do each one separately so you can make sharp creases, as this will make your ball go together better in the final step.

5. Once all your circles are folded, you'll need to take 5 pieces and arrange them as shown. Do 2 sets like this.

6. Apply your favorite adhesive to the "flap" created when you folded the circles. It's easiest to put the adhesive on one side at a time and work your way around. It should form a dome when you have them all glued together. Do this with both sets of 5.

7. Take the remaining 10 pieces and arrange them how you'd like so that they form a line as shown.

8. Glue the flaps so you have a strip.

9. When you have the strip of them glued together, then glue the ends together to form a ring.

10. Take the 2 domes you made in step 6 and apply adhesive to all of the flaps. Then, very carefully, attach each flap of the dome to a flap of the ring you made in step 9. Do this with both domes and you should end up with a ball that looks like this. You can leave it like a ball to sit around or you can punch a small hole in one of the flaps and add a ribbon to hang it up.
